Van Duzen County Park

Patrick's Point State Park
This park is 24 miles north of Eureka, covering 632 acres and has a voodsy plateau 200 feet above the beach. Featuring hiking, nature trail, outdoor museum of natural and area history and a sea lion lookout. Agate and Jade hunting on the beach as well as fishing and tidepools.
Fern Canyon
Fern Canyon may seem familiar to you. This striking setting was used in 1997 as a backdrop for scenes in The Lost World: Jurassic Park and again for the BBC series Walking With Dinosaurs in 1999. With these famous cinematography credits to its name, Fern Canyon has become a must-see attraction on the North Coast.
