Eureka Zoo the Pride of Humboldt County

This is the only California facility north of San Francisco accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association. The Sequoia Park Zoo is located among groves of ancient redwoods and next to an award winning flower garden. It features a walk-through aviary and a barnyard, both big favorites with the kids. Within the zoo's modern pavilion you'll find a gift shop and cafe along with the zoo's striking indoor exhibits. It's a great place to see keepers prepare meals for the zoo animals.
